The Afeela 1 EV by Sony Honda Mobility is set to change the way we see electric cars. Cutting-edge tech blended with sleek design, this luxury sedan is perfect for drivers who want style, comfort, and innovation. Pre-orders are open now, with deliveries starting in 2026.

Pricing and Models

The Afeela 1 comes in two versions:

  • Afeela 1 Origin: Starting at $89,900, it features 19-inch wheels and a simple black finish for both the interior and exterior.
  • Afeela 1 Signature: Priced at $102,900, it offers 21-inch wheels, entertainment screens for rear passengers, and options for black, gray, or white finishes.

Both models pack a powerful 91 kWh battery, offering up to 300 miles on a single charge.

Built for the Future

Garvis Like Assistant at Your Service

The AI-powered Afeela Personality Agent, is more than just a voice assistant. You can talk to it both inside and outside the car, and it talks back. It’s like having a helpful, tech-savvy friend along for the ride.

Big Screen, Big Experience

Sony’s pillar-to-pillar dashboard display is a centrepiece. Designed with Unreal Engine graphics, it handles maps, driving tools, and entertainment. It’s clear, sharp, and easy to use.

Safety Meets Autonomy

The Afeela 1 is loaded with 40 sensors that include cameras, radars, and LiDAR. These help power its driver-assistance systems, which make driving safer and easier. While it currently supports Level 2 self-driving, future updates might unlock even more autonomy.

Power and Charging

This car isn’t just about luxury—it’s got the performance to match:

  • 300-Mile Range: Thanks to its 91 kWh battery.
  • Fast Charging: Supports NACS charging at 150 kW for quick top-ups.
  • Smooth Driving: Designed for speed, control, and comfort.

Reservations Are Open

You can reserve your Afeela 1 with a $200 refundable deposit on the official site. Deliveries for the premium Signature model start in 2026, followed by the Origin in 2027.

Not Coming to Nepal Anytime Soon

Sadly, the Afeela 1 won’t be hitting Nepali roads anytime soon. None of the car dealers or distributors in Nepal have talked about launching it locally. Limited charging infrastructure and high import costs also make it unlikely for now. Nepali drivers may need to wait few years before this cutting-edge EV becomes an option.

A Car That Sets the Bar

The Afeela 1 isn’t just another electric car—it’s a glimpse into the future of driving. With its smart features, long range, and sleek design, it’s perfect for those who want to stay ahead of the curve. While it’s out of reach for Nepal right now, it’s still exciting to think about what it means for electric mobility worldwide.
