2024 KTM Duke 250 Bookings Open in Nepal: Here's All You Need to Know

The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has officially announced the opening of bookings for the much-awaited 2024 KTM Duke 250 in Nepal. Hansraj Hulaschand & Co., the official distributor of KTM motorcycles in Nepal, is gearing up to introduce the third generation of the KTM 250 Duke soon, with bookings currently being opened. KTM has significantly enhanced the engine, chassis, and features, elevating the overall offering of the Duke 250 to unprecedented heights in comparison to the older model.


At the heart of the 2024 Duke 250 lies a high-performance engine that delivers exhilarating power and torque.  It is powered by a 249.07cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC FI engine that generates a max power of 31 PS at 9250rpm and a max torque of 25Nm at 7250rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It is also a BS6-compliant FI engine with E20 fuel compatible. The new engine brings a 1PS increase in power and a 1Nm boost in torque figures. It comes with a dual-disc setup paired with dual-channel ABS, including SuperMoto ABS technology.


With its sharp lines, aggressive stance, and signature KTM styling, the Duke 250 is a head-turner wherever it goes. The KTM Duke 250 boasts a comprehensive LED setup, including LED headlights and indicators, along with an all-LED tail lamp featuring complete LED side indicators. Additionally, its updated muscular tank showcases the signature tank pattern and glossy paint finish. It features a split-seat configuration and eye-catching orange alloy wheels. It also boasts a fully digital instrument cluster, providing a plethora of information at a glance.


In terms of dimensions, the new KTM Duke 250 boasts a length of 2026 mm, a width of 836 mm, and a height of 1267 mm, with a wheelbase measuring approximately 1357 mm. The saddle height stands at 820 mm, complemented by a ground clearance of 176 mm. The bike maintains a kerb weight of 162.8 kg. It boasts a generous fuel tank capacity of 15 litres, accompanied by an impressive mileage of approximately 35.00 kilometres per litre. The suspension setup is managed by a 43mm WP APEX USD fork and a 10-step preload adjustable WP APEX monoshock.


The 2024 KTM Duke 250 price in Nepal is NRs. 7.39 Lakhs. KTM Nepal has announced that the updated Duke 250 comes with a slight price increase of NRs. 5,000 compared to its predecessor, which was priced at NRs. 7.34 Lakhs in Nepal. The bikes are anticipated to reach Nepal by the end of this month. It is available in two different colours: Ceramic White and Electric Orange. In terms of competition, it goes head-to-head with the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Yamaha FZ25, and Husqvarna 250. For more information, those interested can contact their nearest KTM showroom.
