Honda Cars is all set to launch the updated Jazz in Nepal in coming months. It comes with a cosmetic update and a BS6 petrol engine. Bookings for the premium hatchback are open in for certain Asian markets and you can reserve one via the carmaker’s official website. Now, shots of the Honda Jazz reaching dealerships have surfaced online, giving us a closer look at the updated car.

For starters, the Jazz’ fascia features a chrome mustache that looks similar to the fourth-gen City and is flanked by a pair of new LED headlamps. You also get a redesigned bumper that looks more muscular and comes with LED fog lamps. There are no changes to its profile and rear-end whatsoever available to the model in Nepal.

Not much has changed on the inside of the Honda Jazz, but it is the only car in its segment to feature a sunroof. Features like a touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, keyless entry with push button start, steering mounted audio and cruise controls have been retained. On the safety front, it comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.

Honda has now done away with the diesel engine that was offered in the BS4 Jazz. The facelifted Jazz will be a petrol-only model and will come with a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that should develop 90PS of power and 110Nm of torque. Just like before, it can be had with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT. We will get more updates in coming days regarding new Honda Jazz. Stay tune with us for more auto news in Nepal.

Prices for the Honda Jazz will be announced on September and we expect a starting price to be more then 40 lakhs in the Nepalese markets. The main advantage of the Jazz is the spacious cabin and practical nature when pitched against the Hyundai Elite i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Tata Altroz.
