According to the recent reports from the automotive industry, the much-awaited 250cc models of Pulsar RS and Pulsar NS will be launched in Nepal by the end of this year. Bajaj Pulsar NS 250 is now in its initial development stage and is expected to make its entry by mid-202 and Pulsar RS 250 could also be launched once the NS 250 will be available in the Nepalese market. Both the bikes are part of Bajaj’s next-generation UG6 Pulsar range which will debut in 2021. Bajaj also may introduce a Pulsar 250 in such a way that will also make them internationally relevant.

According to recent rumors, the NS250 and RS250 will replace the NS200 and RS200 respectively. The Pulsar NS250 and Pulsar RS250 will be powered by Dominar 250’s single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. Mechanically, the BS6-compliant engine gets a 248.8 cc single-cylinder which is tuned to make a maximum power of 26.6 bhp at 8,500 rpm against a peak torque of 23.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. Bajaj has also recently revealed the Dominar 250 in the Nepalese market.

The new Pulsar 250cc variants are expected to receive several premium features, such as a USD front fork, a fully digital console, smartphone connectivity, and a slip clutch as standard. To achieve a promising effect, the bike would also have better tires and a refined engine. At the moment, aside from the Dominar 250, Bajaj does not have a product in the entry-level quarter-liter segment to compete in the market with the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250, Yamaha FZ25 and FZS 25. The Bajaj Pulsar series currently has 125, 150, 160, 180, 200 and 220 cc engine options.

In addition to the 250cc model of the Pulsar NS and the Pulsar RS, the Bajaj Auto is said to be working on the Avenger 250 cruiser motorcycle and the Pulsar AS250 adventure bike as well. Demand for affordable 250cc bikes in Nepal is increasing day by day and the Pulsar NS 250 and RS 250 will help Bajaj gain space in this booming sector. There are no details on the price yet. Once launched in Nepal, the Bajaj Pulsar NS250 and Pulsar RS250 are expected to get a price tag of around NRs. 4 to 6 lakhs.
