Techo Electra, a Pune-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer has launched three new electric scooters in its portfolio namely: Neo, Raptor, and Emerge. With the motto of enabling a new range of mobility, every Techo Electra vehicle is feature-packed & loaded with cutting -edge technology.
All three of the electric scooters launched by Techo Electra features LED headlights as standard in addition to a USB charging port as well as an all-digital instrument panel. The brand has offered a sporty style language to the Neo and Raptor e-scooters though, the Emerge is seen with a sophisticated European design language that draws inspiration from the famous Vespa. The features setting the Emerge and Raptor apart from the base model Neo is the addition of a reverse assist for the former two.
Powering all the three electric scooters is the same BLDC motor that is capable of generating a power of 250W. The company-claimed range for Neo is 60-65 km in a single charge, while the Raptor and Emerge are good for 75-85 km and 70-80 km respectively. The Emerge model has been equipped with a 48V 28Ah lithium-ion battery while the Neo and Raptor are available with 12V 20Ah and 12V 32Ah battery respectively.
The suspension duties on Techo electric scooters are handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear of scooters gets dual shock absorbers. The Neo comes with front and rear drum brakes while the Raptor and Emerge are equipped with a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
Coming to the charging duration, the flagship variant Emerge can be charged in 4-5 hours via standard power unit and gets a removable battery. On the other hand, 5-7 hours are required to charge the Neo and Raptor electric scooters. The company plans on adding more dealerships across various parts of the country to reach a wider audience.
