The
all-new Honda CBR400R
is finally revealed but meanwhile, it will only cater to the global market.
This upcoming model will receive a 399 cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine
which will produce a max power of 46 bhp and a max torque of
38 nm and also get a 6-speed gearbox. Moreover, there will be a slipper clutch
as standard across the variants along with the latest exhaust designed by Honda
Racing. The valve timing of Honda CBR400R will be re-tuned as well. This beauty
will weigh somewhere around 192 kg, and also carry a fuel capacity of over 17
litres. The Honda CBR400R
will be offered in three different colours, namely Grand Prix Red, Matte Axis
Grey Metallic and Pearl Glare White.
The
all-new Honda CBR400R styling quotient will feature all LED lighting and a
fully digitalized instrument cluster to display the speed, rpm, mileage and
every necessary information on the go. The Honda CBR400R performance will
feature the suspension duties, which will be maintained by telescopic forks
present at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. The beauty will feature
17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with a 120 section upfront tyre and a 180
section tyre at the rear.
According
to Honda’s
website, the Honda CBR400R will claim mileage of 41 kmpl while running at
a consistent speed of 60 kmph on the road. The upcoming Honda CBR400R will
acquire a liquid-cooled 399 cc parallel twin engine. It will produce a maximum
power of 46 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 38 Nm of maximum peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The
motor will be mated to a constant mesh 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch
which will come as standard along with a new exhaust designed by Honda Racing.
The
Honda CBR400R braking needs will be fulfilled by the disc brakes present at the
front and the rear. The bike will be well-equipped with a dual-channeled ABS (Anti-lock
Braking System). The Honda CBR400R will be fiercely competing against
the Ktm Duke 390 and
the Bajaj Dominar 400 in Nepal.
