Ford recently launched the 2019 version of the Endeavour SUV. The Endeavour facelift gets subtle cosmetic tweaks to its exterior and bit more changes to the interiors as well. Ford offers the new Endeavour in two variants – Titanium and Titanium Plus. There are many more points that we will like to add below that why the 2019 Ford Endeavour is a good option to go for.

Exterior:

To be known as the Ford Everest in the U.S, the new Endeavour facelift comes with subtle changes on the outside such as Ford has given a new shade offering – Diffused Silver colour, a redesigned front chrome grille and front diffuser, puddle lamps mounted under the outside rearview mirror, and a new set of 18 inch alloy wheels. The 2019 Endeavour measures 4903 mm in overall length, 1869mm wide, it stands tall at 1837 mm with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. Though, one might feel that it is not that good for tight space as it has 6.10 metre of turning radius and it is claimed as a minimum. Still, when going through a path you feel like a king of the road. Its big chunky tyres along with a ground clearance of 225 mm make it hover even off the tarmac.

Interior:

Coming to the interiors, the new Ford Endeavour does not offer much of the visual changes – it gets the same black - beige dual-tone interior, the upholstery is wrapped with premium leather. The new version now gets a push start/stop button, some chrome finishing on the gear lever, electrically adjustable 8-way seats for the front the passenger as well, but it’s offered only on the titanium plus variant. What else this SUV offers is dual-zone climate control and adding air vents on the 2nd as well as for the 3rd row along with centre armrest at the rear and cup holder as standard, whereas the Titanium Plus comes packed with a panoramic sunroof. That apart, the interior also boasts of 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Ford's SYNC3 and is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with a unit of the 10-speaker audio system. The steering wheel is the same with multi-functional feature like cruise control, music, voice command, to name a few and instrument is still the same with two display screen.

To offer more comfort, Ford has also added powered tailgate (hands-free it is), so that if you are trying to impress your other half, this could play a part in it. Just lift your foot under the rear bumper to operate and make use of it. To add more to it, the 2019 Ford Endeavour offers this feature in addition to the parallel parking assist, which is semi-automatic but good with its job when parking this huge SUV by itself. For the safety, even the Ford Endeavour old model was no less and the 2019 version is too the same. The new Endeavours comes packed with ABS with EBS, six airbags, rear parking camera, keyless entry along with Ford MyKey, , hill launch assist, tyre pressure monitor system, etc., as standard feature, while on the Titanium Plus variant, these features stretch out with one extra airbag, electrochromic IRVM, front parking sensors and hill descent control feature.

Engine:

Under the bonnet, it’s all the same. The new Ford Endeavour SUV is available with two diesel engine options a smaller 2.2-litre and a 3.2-litre diesel engine. The 2.2L engine makes 158 bhp and 385 Nm of peak torque, and it is offered with both a 6-speed manual gearbox for the Titanium variant as well as with a 6-speed automatic transmission on the higher Titanium Plus trim. That apart, the smaller engine is also offered with a 4X2 setup only. The 3.2L engine belts out 197 bhp and 470 Nm of top torque and is offered with a 4x4 setup. The 2019 ford Endeavour’s mileage comes out to be 14.2Kmpl from the 2.2-litre diesel engine and 12.62 kmpl from the bigger 3.2-litre diesel motor (mileage figures are ARAI Certified).
