The BS6 Honda Civic Diesel has been officially launched in both the VX variant and the top-spec ZX variant. The premium D-segment sedan is powered by a 1597cc, 4-cylinder, DOHC, turbocharged, i-DTEC diesel engine that produces 120 HP of maximum power at 4,000 rpm and a peak torque of 300 Nm at 2,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. The company-claimed mileage figure for the BS6-compliant Honda Civic Diesel stands at 23.9 kmpl.
