The Mahindra XUV 700 has been finally launched in Nepal. Agni Group, the authorized distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, has officially launched Mahindra XUV 700 in Nepal with six different variants. The Mahindra XUV700 is built on a W601 monocoque platform, which is new and bigger than the XUV500 in all dimensions. It is a mid-size sports utility vehicle (SUV) that has been designed to provide a perfect balance of style, comfort, and performance. It is one of the most popular vehicles from the Indian automaker, Mahindra & Mahindra.
Mahindra is offering the new XUV 700 with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is powered by a 2.0-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol engine that generates a max power of 197 bhp at 5000rpm and a max torque 380Nm at 1750-3000 rpm. The diesel variant is powered by a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder mHawk oil burner that generates a max power of 1153 bhp at 3750 rpm and a max torque of 360 Nm at 1500 to 2800 rpm. This engine comes mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic torque converter gearbox. It will be available in both the 5-Seater and 7-seater options.
The Mahindra XUV 700 boasts a bold and stylish design that sets it apart from other mid-size SUVs. It comes with HD dual-display units with two 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation, ventilated seats Amazon Alexa Built-In, Wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play, wireless charging and AdrenoX Connect with 60+ Connected features. It also gets clear-view LED Headlamps, LED DRLs with sequential turn indicators diamond-cut alloy wheels, chromed lines around Windows, and a flush door handle. Features like the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology will be limited to the range-topping AX7 variants.
The Mahindra XUV 700 is equipped with a range of advanced safety features that ensure the passengers' safety and security. The SUV is equipped with front, side and curtain airbags, a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX seat mounts, a hill hold/descent function an electronic parking brake and Dynamic Stability Program (DSP) among others. It is also equipped with other premium features including a Sony-powered 12-speakers 3D surround sound system, and six-way power-adjustable seats with memory and welcome function while the panoramic sunroof is only limited to the top-end variants. It comes with a range of driver assistance features, such as blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning.
The Mahindra XUV 700 price in Nepal starts at NRs. 74.00 Lakhs to NRs. 1.10 Lakhs. It is available in six variants across three trim levels including AX3, AX5, and AX7. It also gets three pre-set drive modes - Zip, Zap, and Zoom, along with a Custom setting. It comes in five different colours: White, Black, Silver, Red, and Blue. Its bold and stylish design, powerful engine, and advanced safety features make it an ideal choice for those who want a capable and reliable SUV.
